 6:00 p.m.- IM John Donaldson lecture at the Kress Gallery River Park Square, downtown Spokane 

 6:45 p.m.- Donaldson Simul  --  $10 per board (bring your own equipment)



2:00 2:30 Registration for Blitz at Kress Gallery.

Event will end by 6:00.  Format depending upon entries.  Please bring your own equipment to play.

 The Spokane Chess Club and the Gary Younker Foundation, in memory of former presidents Dave Collyer and Gary Younker, proudly present the Twenty-Fifth Dave Collyer Memorial tournament.

 Location: Millwood Presbyterian Church Community Center

                 3223 N. Marguerite,  Millwood, WA 99212          

I-90 Exit 287; north on Argonne Road to light at Euclid; turn left, two blocks.

 A computer-paired, five-round Swiss System event.

Registration: 9:30-10:30, February 25, 2017.

Rounds:  11-2:30-7; 9-1:30 or ASAP.  Time control: Rd. 1: G/90,d5; Rds 2-5: G/115,d5. 

Entry fee: $27 if received by 2/24, $35 at the door; under 19 $5 less. Telephone entries accepted (pay at door). Free advance entry to all rated over 2199.  All registrants must check in by 10:40 unless a first-round bye was granted.

            A Northwest Grand Prix Event.  $2500 GUARANTEED prize fund.  Class prizes based on at least 5 per class; classes may be reconfigured if less than five class entries.  Only one prize per player (excluding biggest upset). NS, NC, W.  One -point bye available if requested by end of prior round; Sunday bye must be requested by end of round 3.  Director reserves the right to use class pairings in final round.

$125 first, $75 second: A; B; C; D; E/unrated. 

Biggest Upset Each Round: $50 (non-provisional ratings); additional $50 for overall largest.

 E.F. $23 if received by 4/28, $28 at the door; 18 and under $5 less. Telephone entries accepted. USCF rated and a NWGP event.  $750 prize fund based on 35, Class prizes based on at least five per section. Only one prize per person (Excluding biggest upset.) NS, NC, W.
